I live abroad and came home for Summer. Picked up a hire car and visited a new home bargains. Stocked up my cupboards for me and 4 kids after 2 weeks quarantine £147 later after navigating a large unfamiliar store. Now the hire company have forwarded a £100 parking charge notice from Parking Eye plus a £42 admin charge from themselves.

windolene pink emulsion - where has it gone? - MoneySavingExpert Forum
hi wonder if anybody can help. i am desperate to get my hands on good old fashioned windolene - tried co-op, morrisons, tesco (woman didnt even know what i was on about), semi-chem and cant get it -notice can get it online ebay etc but most are working out at over £5.00 a bottle once adding the p&p - has anybody seen it in a high street shop?

I have read quite a bit about this already on the forum and how to appeal and will be continuing to read through to make an appeal. My car was parked at Home Bargains Hayle store but we were 11 minutes late getting back to my car and they are requesting a £100 fine which was received in the post this morning. I parked there after dropping my sick dog at the vets.

Parking Fine from Parking Eye at Home Bargains
You could ask for the ticket to be cancelled by Home Bargains - first the store a loyal customer, then Head Office. If that doesn't work then fight them. And I'm sure somewhere on these threads is a reference to PE stating that their GPEoL is £53 (though it must be site specific), therefore your charge could be considered excessive and punitive.

Long burning fire logs / briquettes - which brand do you use?
Sadly, Home Bargains are having stock issues and my local store informed me today that they don't expect to receive any deliveries before mid January. I expect this is a nationwide problem, as the option to buy the Verdo packs online has been removed from their website. !
